  • Hormel Foods employees give to United Way: Company workers presented check for $312K

    Workers at Hormel Foods Corp. weren’t going to miss their chance to add to United Way’s annual campaign. The corporate office employees of Hormel Foods presented a check for $312,000 to the United Way Friday afternoon at the Hormel Foods Corporate Office. The money was 13 percent more than the 2014 record-breaking total of about $275,000.

  • Hormel, Marsh donate 180 hams to food bank

    Dozens of local families will be able to enjoy a more complete holiday meal in the coming weeks, after a donation of more than 180 hams was presented to Second Harvest Food Bank early Friday. Hormel Foods, which distributes its hams and other meat products throughout the United States, presented the donation — comprised of more than a dozen boxes of small hams —  to the food bank at an event at the McGalliard Road Marsh store.

  • Hormel Foods gives back

    Today, Hormel Foods Corporate Office employees presented a check to The United Way of Mower County, making it a record breaking campaign contribution. The United Way of Mower County is currently in their annual fundraising campaign and this contribution is a great help. In 2014 United Way set a goal to raise $1.1 million and they were able to achieve that.

  • Winco donates holiday hams to Idaho Foodbank

    Providing 1.3 million meals is the Idaho Foodbank's goal for December. The foodbank is getting closer to that goal thanks in part to this special delivery that Winco Foods made Tuesday morning. One of the grocery company's executives says Winco received the hams from Hormel, based on the volume of business Winco stores do with Hormel throughout the year.
