Hormel Foods Donates Four Semi-trailer Loads of Product to Feeding America for Tropical Storm Irene Relief Efforts

Hormel Foods Corporation (NYSE: HRL) today announced a donation of about 220,000 Hormel® Compleats® microwave meals to Feeding America to aid in relief efforts following Tropical Storm Irene.

Hormel® Compleats® microwave meals are 10-ounce satisfying meals that feature quality chicken, beef or turkey as well as flavorful vegetables and pasta, potatoes or rice. They are ideal for use in a disaster kit because they do not need to be frozen or refrigerated.
