The Fremont (Neb.) Plant of Hormel Foods Corporation (NYSE:HRL) announced today that it will donate $5,000 to the Low Income Ministry in Fremont. Low Income Ministry is a nonprofit agency that has served the hungry in Nebraska since 1972 by distributing food, clothing and other necessities to families in need in Fremont and surrounding communities.
“Thank you to our employees, whose hard work and commitment to excellence make it possible for Hormel Foods to give back to our community,” said Donnie Temperley, plant manager, Fremont Plant. “On behalf of the Fremont Plant, we are proud to help Low Income Ministry continue the great work they are doing to feed those in need.”
This donation is part of the commitment at Hormel Foods to nourish the hungry in the United States one community at a time.
