Environmental Commitment
The Hormel Foods Environmental Excellence program requires our engineering team to audit nearly 40 facilities using a strict 15-page checklist that monitors numerous items including air emissions, energy use, and solid waste and recycling.
Hormel Foods Receives Environmental Honors
Hormel Foods Corporation is proud to announce that 22 facilities were recognized for environmental achievements as part of the 2007 AMI International Meat, Poultry & Seafood Industry Convention and Exposition held in Chicago, Ill. This convention is one of two events that are part of the larger Worldwide Food Expo. The company has received a total of 45 awards over the last two years.
