Dan’s Prize
Dan's Prize, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary, is headquartered in Gainesville, Ga. and operates manufacturing plants in Long Prairie and Browerville, Minn. Dan's Prize was founded in 1986 by Dan Hitchcock, Jim Smith, Bob Uhlenkamp, Vern Noland and Ed Johnson. In 1991, Hormel Foods acquired Dan's Prize.
Dan’s Prize produces roast beef, corned beef, prime rib, pastrami, sliced meats, pot roast and other cooked meats for foodservice and deli operators.
