Legendary Flavor
According to legend, the olive tree was created by the Greek goddess Athena as the result of a challenge from Zeus to create the most useful gift. The story is almost believable, for to taste truly great olive oil is to taste the divine. For untold generations, the olive tree has provided food and fuel, soothed wounds and symbolized divine blessing and peace. Carapelli® products aim to deliver that tradition, in every bottle, every day, every time.
The Carapelli brand has been a leading name in olive oil since 1893, when Constantino Carapelli began selling olive oil and grain, founding a family business that became an Italian tradition. Moving his business to Florence in 1940, and bringing his sons into the business as partners, Constantino built his business until, by the 1950s, the Carapelli brand was a household name.
Throughout their history, the makers of Carapelli olive oil have embraced an unwavering commitment to innovative ideas and uncompromising quality. Today Carapelli Extra Virgin olive oil is the No. 1 brand in Italy. Whether used in preparing a meal for one or a family of twelve, Carapelli olive oils infuse common Italian entrées, side dishes and appetizers with uncommonly rich flavor. Bring Italy to your front door when you bring Carapelli olive oil home.

Centuries ago, the process of cold-processing only the pulp of the olives to obtain Extra Virgin olive oil was so uniquie and demanding, that this oil was only offered to noblemen and aristocrats.
