Our future depends on the creativity, innovation and continual growth of our employees. Because employees are responsible for producing wholesome products, reducing environmental impact and ensuring their own safety, training is essential.
Both professional and safety training allows employees to be confident in performing job requirements. For example, in order to comply with many of the environmental laws, our environmental professionals are required to attend annual training sessions about changes related to these regulations. In order for our employees to grow professionally, we offer educational assistance, professional development programs and internal recruitment support for employees to advance within Hormel Foods nationally and globally.
Pathways to Success program

We are pleased to announce that based on employee feedback and in alignment with our goal to continue to be a company where people aspire to work and build longterm careers, Hormel Foods has developed and will pilot the Pathways to Success development program for employees in several fields.
A pathway is a series and sequence of formal training courses for an employee in a particular functional area. Pathways to Success is a development program for employees in salaried positions leading to certification through learning key competencies.
The program is designed to provide the right training at the right time to help employees be as successful as possible in their position.
