Hormel Foods Founder’s Friday Sweepstakes Official Rules
No Purchase or Payment of any Kind is Necessary to Enter or Win this Sweepstakes.

- How to Enter: Sweepstakes begins on July 2, 2010 and ends on December 3, 2010 (the "Promotion Period"). To enter the Sweepstakes: To enter, you must have or create a non-private Twitter account. If you already have a Twitter account, you will have to sign in to your account. If you are not an existing member of Twitter, you will be required to follow the directions and join Twitter. When you join Twitter, you are indicating that you have read and agree to accept the Twitter Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Membership to Twitter.com is free. To enter the Sweepstakes, sign in at Twitter.com and reply to us @HormelFoods by following directions of either retweeting or responding with an appropriate response on Twitter, use the hashtag #HormelFF and become a follower of us @HormelFoods. Hormel Foods Corporation ("Hormel Foods") employees, promotion and judging agencies, Twitter, and each of their respective parents, affiliates, divisions, and agencies, and all of the foregoing entities' respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders and agents (the "Released Parties") are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, human or printing errors, or for late, lost, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, mechanically reproduced, or illegible and/or postage-due mail or entries. All entries become the property of Sponsor. Entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized Twitter account holder associated with the username used to enter via Twitter. The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a username by twitter.com. You must enter using only a twitter.com account subscribed to and registered in your name. The potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the user name/Twitter Account associated with the winning entry.
- Eligibility: Sweepstakes open only to legal residents of 50 United States who have reached the age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence at time of entry(generally age 18, except age 19 in AL and NE). Hormel Foods employees, promotion and judging agencies, each of their respective parents, affiliates, divisions, and agencies, and their respective immediate families (spouse, parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses) and household members of each are ineligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. All terms and conditions of Twitter.com apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
- Trivia Answers: By following the directions of the @HormelFoods tweet on Friday, followers will be asked to either retweet or answer a question beginning at or around NOON Central Time (“CT”) every Friday beginning July 2 to December 3, 2010. Followers who respond according to the rules will be automatically entered into a random drawing. There will be one (1) set of three (3) high value coupons per week for a total of 23 of weeks. One (1) high value coupon winner will be chosen for each question or re-tweet on or about July 2, 2010 to December 3, 2010 by Burson-Marsteller, an independent judging organization whose decisions on all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes are final. All properly claimed high value coupons will be awarded. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Limit of one (1) set of three (3) high value coupons per person, family or household. Winners will be notified by direct message to persons Twitter account. You must provide mailing address to claim your high value coupons, and winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility (which affirms that they have complied with these Rules) as well as a liability release, and, where legal, a publicity release, all of which must be completed, signed and returned within fourteen (14) days from date on which the documents are sent to the prospective winner or the high value coupons will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Acceptance of the high value coupons constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winners' names and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional notice or compensation unless prohibited by law.
- High value coupons: The one (1) set of three (3) high value coupons will not exceed an Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of $25.00 Per Friday Contest drawing; Total of 69 high value coupons. Odds of winning are dependent on number of eligible entries received. All taxes, fees and any other expenses not specified herein, including without limitation, income taxes, related to the high value coupon awarded and its receipt are the sole responsibility of the winner. No high value coupon substitution or transfer of high value coupon permitted except by Sponsor. If a potential winner does not wish to accept the high value coupon, an alternate will be selected from the pool of eligible entrants. By entering, participants and winners agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree to release, discharge and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, actions, damages and/or liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in and/or entry into this Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, misuse, non-use or possession of any high value coupon won or in connection with any Sweepstakes-related activity or from merchandise delivery, from claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, or any other intellectual property or personal rights related cause of action. All details of a high value coupon not set forth herein shall be determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion.
- General Conditions: The Released Parties are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related materials or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, postage-due, and/or illegible entries or mail. If, in Sponsor's opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if fraud or actions by entrants, compromise, corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual and/or void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, or to terminate the Sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the high value coupons using all non-suspect eligible entries received as of the date of such action. No more than the stated number of high value coupons will be awarded during the Sweepstakes.
- Use of Data: Sponsor will be collecting personal data about entrants online, in accordance with its privacy policy as well as Twitter's privacy policy. Please review the Sponsor's privacy policy at http://www.hormelfoods.com/privacy.aspx and Twitter's privacy policy at http://twitter.com/privacy. By participating in the Promotion, entrants hereby agree to Sponsor's collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted the foregoing privacy policies.
