The Difference is Safety
A safe working environment is serious business for Hormel Foods, and we have departments dedicated to safety within our company. Through our comprehensive Safety Excellence Program, which expanded in 2006 to include 29 plants up from 14 in previous years, each plant is judged and acknowledged based on pre-established goals to minimize injuries. Also, our safety and ergonomic committees lead our corporate safety and ergonomic program at plant offices.
