Hormel Foods Donates Product for Typhoon Soudelor Relief Efforts in Saipan


Austin, Minn.

Hormel Foods Corporation (NYSE: HRL) today announced a donation of product to assist with the relief efforts in Saipan due to Typhoon Soudelor. The donation of more than 20,000 cans of Hormel® Black Label® canned luncheon meat will go to those in need.

“We hope this donation will provide a helpful way to feed the many in need as the difficult process of rebuilding begins,” said James P. Snee, group vice president and president of Hormel Foods International Corporation. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all who have been affected by this devastating event.”

The donation of Hormel® Black Label® canned luncheon meat will provide a source of shelf-stable protein for the people of the area.
