Creative Contract Packaging Corporation, the local manufacturing facility owned by Hormel Foods Corporation (NYSE: HRL), announced today that it has donated $10,000 to the Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry to help fight hunger in the community.

Creative Contract Packaging Corporation has donated funds to this organization since 2011.

“We are inspired by the Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry and their efforts to fight hunger in our community and we are honored to join them in that fight,” said Thomas Koehn, plant manager of the Creative Contract Packaging Corporation. “I would like to thank our employees, whose dedication and hard work make it possible for us to help those in need. On behalf of Creative Contract Packaging, we are impacting the lives of our neighbors with the power of food. We are excited to help do our part in making a difference.”

“Over 19,000 families will be assisted over the year through the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry,” said Marilyn Weisner, executive director at the food pantry. “It’s been a great partnership over the last several years.”
