Waikiki SPAM JAM® Festival breaks records

The 22nd annual Waikiki SPAM JAM® Festival had record-breaking energy, at the same time drawing more than 40,000 SPAM® brand fans to five lively blocks of Kalākaua Avenue. Guests experienced 45 food and retail vendors and 25 participating restaurants, enjoying everything from classic SPAM® musubi to creative twists like gelato. The weekend also featured a standout collaboration with OluKai, which debuted a limited-edition sandal inspired by one of Hawaii’s favorite snacks.

The celebration began before guests even reached Waikīkī. In partnership with Southwest Airlines, the SPAM® brand extended the experience in the air and on the ground with SPAM® singles, SPAMMY™ appearances, recipe inspiration and photo moments — starting with a surprise send-off in Las Vegas and continuing through Honolulu. From the skies to the streets, the SPAM® brand showed up in a big way, celebrating its deep connection to Hawaii and making this the biggest Waikiki SPAM JAM® Festival yet.
