Inspired Pathways

Our groundbreaking Inspired Pathways program provides the opportunity of a free two-year college education to the dependent children of our team members. This monumental program helps many first-generation college students.

To date, over 330 scholarships have been granted with 130 in the pipeline.

Workforce Edge Education Resources

We expanded our leading programs to help eligible team members gain access to several debt-free education opportunities. We are partnering with Workforce Edge, a complete employee education management platform powered by Strategic Education, Inc., on this benefits expansion.

Hormel Heroes Scholarships

Hormel Foods created the Hormel Heroes Scholarship Program to support students with military backgrounds who are pursuing careers in culinary arts or a program related to foodservice management. The program is administered by the National Restaurant Educational Foundation. In 2023, we awarded two $10,000 scholarships. To date, we have awarded $120,000 to nine students.

Undergraduate College Scholarships

For the 57th consecutive year, Hormel Foods awarded 7 undergraduate college scholarships to children of full-time, retired and deceased team members of Hormel Foods and its subsidiaries. We fund talented students through the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, helping those who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, exemplary leadership qualities and significant involvement in extracurricular activities pursue post-secondary education at accredited academic institutions. Recipients of this program are awarded $2,000 per year for four years toward their college degree.
