As senior vice president of human resources, Janet Hogan is responsible for building and executing world-class strategies for talent development, employee engagement, total rewards and labor relations at Hormel Foods. Hormel Foods is a global branded food company with over $9 billion in annual revenues across 75 countries worldwide. Its brands include SKIPPY®, SPAM®, Hormel® Natural Choice®, Applegate®, Justin’s®, Columbus®, Wholly® Guacamole, Hormel® Black Label® and more than 30 other beloved brands. The company is a member of the S&P 500 Index and the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats, was named one of “The 100 Best Corporate Citizens” by Corporate Responsibility Magazine for 12 years in a row, and has received numerous other awards and accolades for its corporate responsibility and community service efforts.

Hogan joined Hormel Foods in 2017 after more than 25 years of experience leading human resource teams. Most recently, she has led global human resource organizations such as ProQuest and OshKosh Corporation. Prior to her work at these companies, Hogan served as the vice president of human resources for three years at Harsco Corporation and spent almost 20 years at Monsanto Company.

Hogan received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics from Southern Illinois University.

Hogan has served on several not-for-profit boards including the Hope House and the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri.

Janet is married to Dave and they have three children, Ryan, Taylar and Madison.
